CHARLOTTE KANYUH
Litigation Paralegal
About
Charlotte grew up in Wisconsin, enjoying all parts of the Midwest. After graduating with her Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and Political Science, she moved the Pacific Northwest where she began her career in the legal field as a legal assistant at an amazing law firm in Spokane Valley, Washington. Over the years, she developed a true and deep passion for assisting both attorneys and clients in accomplishing their legal objectives. In 2021, through the support of her supervising attorneys and colleagues, Charlotte earned her Paralegal Certification. Her knowledge in various transactional and litigation practice areas allowed her to assume the concurrent roles of Litigation Paralegal, Front Office Supervisor, Lead New Client Intake Specialist, and Lead Legal Assistant and Paralegal Trainer.
In September 2022, Charlotte relocated to the Portland area where she began working as a Litigation Paralegal at a law firm where Attorney Blair Townsend was Partner. Under Blair's mentorship, Charlotte continued to grow her knowledge as a paralegal, so when Blair made the exciting decision to open her own law firm in 2023, Charlotte decided to join her. Charlotte continues to learn and develop her knowledge to assist Blair in her legal practice and clients with their personal injury, wrongful death, business, malpractice, and other legal needs. One area of practice Charlotte is most passionate about is assisting vulnerable clients who are victims of abuse and neglect in residential care facilities.
When she's not at work, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her dog, Lagavulin "Laga" Duke Silver, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. Being new to the Portland area, Charlotte looks forward to learning all she can about the city.
